          As a United States Marine Corps Communications Chief retiring after 20 years of honorable service, I embarked on a new journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at American Military University. My decision to choose this degree was driven by a desire to diversify my skills, gain broad business knowledge, and prepare myself for a successful transition into civilian leadership roles. This program has provided a dynamic blend of theoretical and practical business insights that perfectly complement my military leadership experience.

        This portfolio is thoughtfully organized to help you navigate through my educational achievements and professional growth. Beginning with an overview of my academic journey, it then highlights key courses, assignments, and reflections that showcase my mastery of core business concepts. Each section is designed to give you a clear view of how I applied academic principles to real-world scenarios, illustrating my readiness to excel in a competitive business environment.

         During my studies, I mastered essential topics such as ethical business practices, financial analysis, legal frameworks, and macroeconomic principles. The Basics of Business course introduced me to the rapidly evolving business landscape and the critical role ethics and technology play in strategic decisions. In Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors, I developed the ability to analyze financial data and utilize it for effective management decisions. My studies in Law and Ethics in Business Administration deepened my understanding of legal environments and ethical responsibilities, especially in employment law. Finally, Macroeconomics expanded my perspective on how economic trends influence business operations and resource management.

         This academic experience has exceeded my expectations by reinforcing my leadership capabilities and equipping me with versatile business skills. It has prepared me to navigate complex challenges with confidence and integrity. Completing this degree marks a pivotal step toward achieving my career goals in the business sector, and I am excited to leverage this education as a foundation for continued professional success.
